Aaron Flinn is prolific songsmith and multi-instrumentalist who has been performing
and recording original material to rave reviews internationally for
over a dozen years. He released his sixth full-length album, Giving up the Ghost,
in October of 2006 and hit the road to support his new release that
same month. The album is a more stripped down, acoustic based effort
than most of Aaron's previous releases. It was recorded at his home in
Vermont and is being mixed by Jakael Tristram in Seattle, WA.
Aaron won the 1997 Acoustic Guitar Search in Burlington, Vermont and has worked with Govt. Mule, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Don McLean, Chris Stills, Peter Tork, The Samples and Jefferson Starship to name a few. Flinn graduated magna cum laude from Berklee College of Music and was named one of the best songwriters at Berklee as well as the best folk artist in the state of Vermont for 1997.
In the realm of live performance, Aaron is working to solidify a strong line up for his band Salad Days, all the while performing solo and with his folk based trio Watershed (with Howard Wooden from Woods Tea Company and Patrick Fitzsimmons). Flinn's new songs don't stop coming and there's no end in sight.
