This long-awaited sophmore CD by this Minneapolis based band is full of lively, lovingly-performed dance tunes and songs. Finn Hall remain true to their roots primarily as a dance band that plays Finnish American favorites. But they are also progressive, adding tunes that have come more recently from Finland, such as humppas and tangos. Their music retains the sound and spirit of Finnish American and Scandinavian dance music. Here you'll find an interesting and varied collection of tunes, including waltzes, mazurkas, tangos, foxtrots, humppas, and jenkkas (schottisches).
