Craig Himmelright was born in 1974, and raised and still living in Eveleth. Himmelright was seventeen when he started taking guitar lessons. During this point in time he started writing lyrics and experimented with the guitar. His first public performance was in high school with a band called Milk and Cookies during Eveleth High School's Snowball Week. It was then that Craig discovered that others appreciated his talents. Himmelright went on to co-write the class song for his graduating class, purchase a four-track recorder, and teach himself keyboards.
Throughout the years of 1993 to 1997 he wrote the songs that I used for my first release The Dreamer. He took a compilation of his favorite songs of that time period and formed that album. Then he finally released the CD in 2001.
Craig Himmelright's influences include Chicago, Queensryche, Foreigner, Van Halen, and Brian Howe of Bad Company.
