Eric
Ross (who also goes by the project name Innerscience),
has been living, working and performing in Ely, Minnesota for five years. Born
in Detoit, Michigan, Eric was a fixture on the small but tight-knit pub circuit.
Eventually moving to Chicago, his music education and understanding grew to
meet the demands of an ever-fickle audince.
Making a decision six years ago to go against the trends and to start writing and performing music that was closer to his heart, Eric Ross fled to the fertile environment of the Northland where his music could not only be heard, but also understood.
A mixture of rock, jazz and blues, Eric dishes out an eclectic mixture of music and musings on his Innerscience pojects. If you like the smooth rock of Santana, the frenetic improvisation of early Jeff Beck, or the more plaintive sounds of the Yellowjackets, you'll dig Eric Ross - Innerscience.
