Kelly Allyn was raised in Wyoming surrounded by family who never missed a chance to nurture and encourage her ambitions. Growing up, choir class was her favorite and it taught Allyn that she needed a creative outlet. When High School graduation rolled around, she didn't question what the next step in her life would be. She was taught that with a good education success would come out of a respectable job. So Kelly went off to college and pursued a degree, even though she wasn't quite sure where she fit into the world. But she stayed true to her creative side and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design.

Eventually, Kelly Allyn moved to the East Coast certain that the big city was the life for her, but shortly thereafter her husband joined the United States Navy and her aspirations took a backseat to his duty orders. She learned to make do wherever they landed and stayed flexible to suit the priority of his career. Inevitably he was deployed to the Arabian Gulf and Kelly was left alone to reflect. She realized that she had never really taken the time to get to know herself. She was happily married, had a great job, and yet something about her was still incomplete. But she knew that if she were going to survive the next 6 months, it was her passion in life that would pull her through.

And Allyn began to sing again. Over the next year, she worked on a demo album that she hoped would get recognition and invite her to the next level. Her prayers were quickly answered upon meeting her music soul mates Spike Jones and Susie Marshall. Meeting them kicked off the greatest adventure of her life and for the first time Kelly believed that she had purpose to her life. They immediately began creating my debut album, recording at the famous Chelsea Studios. And now, one year later, she's looking at the launch of her dreams. Now that her album is complete she is getting prepared for touring and promoting her music all over the country. People say "timing is everything" and "all in God's time", well, I thank God for giving me this time, and for fulfilling my dreams with love, lots of laughter, and awesome music.

Getting Back From Where I've Been Her first full-length release, the album stands strong with those of better-known names like Faith Hill, Terri Clark, Jo Dee Messina and Shania Twain.
