Denny Anderson's musical career spans over 40 years. He started playing banjo and guitar with his father's band and later played bass with Bob Mastel and the Polka Sharps. Denny met and played his first job with "America's Polka King" Frankie Yankovic & the Yanks in 1964, a week engagement, at a popular polka lounge in Virginia, Minnesota. Denny has since toured throughout the United States, Europe, Canada and the Caribbean, and has performed on many national and local television and radio shows including the National Cleveland Style Polka Hall of Fame All-Star Band. He has recorded with numerous bands and musicians including Roger Bright, Frank Yankovic, Joey Miskulin, Frankie Kramer, and Hank Thunander, and has performed with Steve Meisner, Verne Meisner, Jeff Pecon, Roman Possedi, Gaylord Klancnik and Grammy Award winner, "Canada's Polka King", Walter Ostanek. Denny's experience and love for Cleveland-Style music adds great depth to The International Main Street Polka Band. More recently Denny produced the highly acclaimed "Town & Country Polkas" album and the successful "Thanks for Christmas" album, featuring The International Main Street Polka Band.
Craig Ebel has been playing drums for 30 years in all styles of music including rock, country, big band, and polka. He grew up in a musical family, with his mother singing and playing guitar in country western bands and his father building and operating the Bel-Rae Ballroom, one of the most popular dance spots in Minnesota. His knowledge and love of polka music has earned him a broadcasting career, producing and hosting "It's Polka Time!" a popular syndicated polka radio show currently heard throughout the Midwest and on the Internet. He has played for numerous bands including The Roger Bright Band, Frankie Yankovic, Myron Floren, Al Meixner and Dick Contino. Craig's unique style of percussion, vocals and humor, as well as his creative song writing, adds an exciting dimension and flair to The International Main Street Polka Band.
Eric Noltkamper started his musical career on accordion at the age of 13. At age 15 he played his first job with "America's Polka King" Frankie Yankovic. At age 23, he was nominated for four awards by the National Cleveland Style Polka Hall of Fame. Since that time Eric earned an Associates Degree in Electronic Communication from the Milwaukee Area Technical College. He also went on to pursue music and is a multi-talented musician playing accordion, piano, button box, concertina, guitar, banjo, bass and drums. He has played and recorded with such polka celebrities as Herb Eberle, Gordon Hartmann, Frankie Yankovic, Eddie Blazonczyk, Fred Ziwich, Joey Miskulin, Verne & Steve Meisner, Jeff Pecon and Roger Bright. He has also performed with the National Cleveland Style Polka Hall of Fame All -Star band and has performed in 16 states and Canada. Eric's talents are heard on countless albums.
Dave Austin began playing accordion at the age of 10, then after winning a talent contest; he started performing with the Russ Wilson Band. Dave attended polka festivals where he met many talented musicians such as Roger Bright, Joey Miskulin, Joe Fedorchak, Jeff Pecon, and Frank Yankovic. At age 15, Dave's father encouraged him to study music theory in a wide variety of music styles to expand his musical development. Dave became interested in the art of recording and released his first recording, Cleveland Style Polkas in (1990). Since then he has recorded and produced several albums including Why Not Polka (1991), Polkas and Waltzes Just for You (1991), Memories for You Russ Wilson Orchestra (1992), Hayride Polkas (1992), Russ Wilson and his Orchestra (1994), Dave Austin Plays Party Time Polkas (1999) and It's a Good Day (2003). From 1996 to 2001 Dave performed and traveled with The Roger Bright Band. Currently Dave performs with his own group, The Mike Austin Band and The International Main Street Polka Band.
