Warm Women of the NorthWarm Women of the North is a group of wild and wonderful women started out in 2000 with the introduction of Chick Jam, as once a month jam of women and girls of all ages. It takes place the 2nd Sunday of every month at the Amazing Grace Bakery.

Kim, along with Lori Hatten, and Beverly Johnson, host this group of women who are on stage to help and support other women to get out and perform. The Warm Women group formed from that trio, into a group of 6.

Kim heads the group playing guitar, mandolin and stand-up bass, Lori also plays guitar and Beverly plays keys and psaltery, Diane Soden-Groves on djembe and cajon drums, cellist Kathy McTavish and their very own poet, Ellie Schoenfeld, all of Duluth.
