Standard wooden tabla is paired with a professional bayan. Both are strap tuned. Set includes cushions, covers, tuning hammer and nylon case. Sajid is renowned for top quality tabla. He hand selects the skins for each head. Each head is manufactured to exact specifications. Then the mounting begins. Sajid will mount and re-mount the head a dozen times to make sure of the proper fit and sound. Cushion colors and patterns may vary. Sajid lives in a city called Hyderabad and he makes his tablas in the same city. Made in India.
