The exotic Dragon with GemEye djembe generates an amazing range of sound from thunderous low-pitched bass and natural middle tones, to high pitch slaps. This is a professionally built, musician-quality djembe drum that creates an old world sound that is natural, warm, and full-bodied; a sound that synthetic heads can't produce. The deep carved dragon wraps around the entire shell of the drum and exemplifies the world-class carvings found in our large, professional djembes. The eye of the dragon is adorned with a gem eye. Sageman's massive 24 inch x 12 inch (height/head) Dragon with GemEye djembe drums are precision lathe cut from hard to find, oversized, one-piece sections of mahogany. Sageman uses thick and well-built rings helping enhance durability. The hand picked goatskins are thick and oversized, and they professionally tune each drum prior to shipping and use custom made stretch resistant rope. Finally, prior to shipping, each drum receives a coat of orange oil that helps preserve the carvings.		 Only:
