The combination of carving and shell work found in this drum is a unique feature of Sageman djembes. They use special non-bleached goatskin heads and new enhanced stretch-resistant black rope that helps keep the drum in tune. This djembe generates an amazing range of sound from thunderous low-pitched bass and natural middle tones, to high pitch slaps. This is a professionally built, musician-quality djembe drum that creates an old world sound that is natural, warm, and full-bodied; a sound that synthetic heads can't produce. These 24 inch x 12 inch (height/head) djembe drums are precision lathe cut from hard to find, oversized, one-piece sections of mahogany.		 Only:
