This feature-rich backpack includes extreme padding on the bottom, sides, and top to protect your valuable djembe. More protection is included inside with our unique patent-pending ring-padding system that gives the head and rings extra protection. Other features include a rubber handle that allows the bag to be carried. This bag also includes a three tiered backpack system that secures the drum over the shoulders, around the waist, and over the chest. Nylon mesh holders allow for ample storage space that might include water bottles. Two side pockets create additional storage space. Sageman Ikat Drum Harness
The ultra popular ikat drum harness with clip system is now available in two models. This product continues to be a best selling item and is essential for anyone wanting to stand upright while playing a djembe. The padded yoke system comes in two models: cross-back and straight-back. Both models have padded panels of ikat that go over the top of the shoulders and help evenly distribute the weight of the drum. This relieves pressure from the lower back and enables the drummer to play while standing up or walking. These are popular at drum circles and music festivals. One size fits all djembes. The Sageman ikat drum harness with clip system is made from hand-loomed panels of ikat. The ikat panels vary slightly from harness to harness.

Sageman Traditional Ikat Drum Strap
The Sageman drum strap is the best thing going for stand up drumming. The djembe strap is looped through the top portions of the djembe ropes and since it doesn't have any hard clips it won't scratch your djembe. These are very popular at drum circles and music festivals. They can be used in a variety of ways: playing the drum on the side of the body or through the legs while removing the weight of the drum from the lower back. The drum strap is available in 3 types of trim: Brown and Yellow, Blue, and Rasta. The ikat strap is padded and hand woven, the Rasta colored strap has slightly less padding but is extremely durable.
