Royalty Free Music

Royalty free music is music you can use without having to pay royalties - you purchase a one-off license that gives you permission to use a music track as many times as you want without paying any additional fees. There may be restrictions on how the music track can be used, oo it’s important that you read the terms carefully when purchasing royalty free music.

Following is a collection of royalty free music you can legally use in movies, videos, and social media platforms without taking the chance that you will be sured, your content will be removed, or your account will be terminated. Each website offers different search functionalities, licensing options, and music experience, so make sure you understand what licenses are available, and that you follow the rules for each license. Includes public domain and Creative Commons works. Note that a Creative Commons license license gives you permission to download and share the content, there are different degrees of freedom within it. The five most popular types of creative commons licenses are:

CC0: Unrestricted. Publish, share, modify, and commercialize the work without restrictions.
CC BY: Attribution. Unrestricted license as long as you credit the author.
CC BY-SA: Attribution-Share-Alike. Derivative works can only be distributed under the same license.
